Jackson went in search of the inimitable Raven she who'd stalked into his life and simply vanished in the blink of several eyes. He wasn't sure why that was an aphorism considering everyone blinked even vampires blinked though he believed they did so out of a nervous habit versus a need to moisten their eyes. Anyway he was here hoping to catch sight of Raven as while he was in no way a man of intentions he'd opened his mouth to the Ursa and was elected pointman on this venture. So he'd pointed and they still made him come in person all the same.
So here he was with a flagon of the homebrewed hooch which had been a hit with the sleuth which they were considering making in larger quantities and sharing for a nominal fee the other clans the first stop of course the Kiss. He was unsure how palatable it would be for those that didn't have any real working tastebuds to speak of but he could be wrong erhaps Vampires had extremely refined taste buds which was why they ate so very little again he wasn't sure as to the physiology of vampires. He had several ideas as to how to figure out there physiology but he doubted they'd really consider a sleepover where everyone played truth or dare.

She'd been wandering the halls doing nothing much but listening in on conversations of others. It hadn't been out of necessity but sometimes you learned interesting things. For example. She hadn't been anywhere near the main area for visitors and such but it hadn't been long before the ripples had reached her. There was a bear in their midst which was pretty uncommon so of course it caused a bit of a stir. Curious to know who it was Raven went to see.
She stepped through one of the many doorways and smiled delightedly. It was her bear. Well not really but that's how she thought of him, not that he needed to know that. He would probably be horrified to know her thoughts. For a bear he was quite jumpy or maybe it had been first time jitters. As she walked towards him she looked him over trying to figure out a reason he was here. She noticed a peculiar smell coming from him but wasn't sure what to make of it but he wasn't hurt and that was what mattered.
Reaching him she stopped leaving plenty of room for him to not feel threatened, she hoped. "Hello Jack, wasn't sure I'd be seeing you again. What brings you here?"

Screwing up his face he smiled as Raven popped up behind the door as it opened. He couldn’t say he was surprised that she was home though if he was being honest heh ad to admit that he was. He hadn’t expected she was actually there and hoped in his jealous little heart that he’d be able to find a nice bench and drink himself silly. As it stod looked like he’d be sharing.
Smiling he said,” Oh, well you of course. Well you and this…” He raised the two decanters of homebrew he was hoping to sample with her and gain her endorsement. “The powers that be thought it’d be a good idea if I got you snookered and so here I am. Carrying the ambrosia of gods on earth so you can get quite bent.”
He laughed inwardly at the idea if a vampire got bent would that mean they’d start singing showtunes and dancing to music form centuries ago. He wasn’t sure but was willing to bet his own sobriety on surviving long enough to have witnessed it.
“Well, love invite me in. We’ve got drinking to do and not much time its almost the dinner hour and I’d like to be drunk as a limey before the witching hour.” He was not a naturally brave one but for this elevated rum he would play the part.

Raven smiled quite pleased that he had remembered her and has come looking specifically for her. It didn't really matter why he was here but there was business to attend to first. She had to wonder though if he knew she couldn't taste it, at least not out of the bottle. It would rather difficult to say yes or no to something she could only smell. There were of course ways around that but it all depended on whether or not he was willing to let her sample it... and him.
What she had to consider now was where to take him. She had of course her room but she doubted he would be comfortable there so she decided on showing him to her office. It would be private enough for her liking without being to far removed for him. Shaking her head just a bit she took off heading through a different door then the one she came in through. She could feel the apprehension rolling off the bear but when she showed him to her office he seemed to settle a bit.
Her space wasn't nearly as large as that of her masters but it suited her needs just fine. She settled on the couch and waited for Jack to pick a seat. "Would you like to have dinner or no?" She had yet to feed but at the moment that wasn't much of a concern.

Jack had not realized he’d been standing there like a great flaming idiot with his mouth open untl he caught the look on her face. He hadn’t answered and that was rude his Ma would tan his hide for that alone. But he was so far away and beyond his two-bit backwater upbringing he simply shrugged saying, “Well so long as I’m not on the menu I suppose it would be a good thing. Though I think I taste just fine mind you not that I intended on putting that to the test. After all what sort of bear would I be if I went around tasting and licking myself . No that wouldn’t do at all I would be a laughingstock or worse. Well maybe not a laughingstock but maybe something close to it.“ he realized he was babbling cutting himself short. “Uhm well love, dear that is, well a little food to take the edge off both of our appetites might help us really savor this heaven’s brew. Maybe something light nothing to put ourselves out over.”
Entering he did his best to not let his natural jitters get to him. Something about the spider and flies coming to roost or something or another.

She was really trying not to smile at him as he babbled in very obvious nervousness. Her bear was quite the cute one even if he seemed to be perpetually drunk. She wasn't aware a lycanthrope could get smashed but he certainly had a tendency to act like it. It could have to do with the drink in his hands if that was true then his sleuth would make a killing in the market. But she was getting ahead of herself. Thinking about what to order she got up and walked to her desk picking up the phone calling the kitchen and putting in an order for Jack with a side dish for herself to keep him from freaking out on her. She could eat a small amount but nothing like what he was likely to be able to put away.
She knew she was going to have to break it to him before he became to drunk to recall their conversation. If he truly wanted her to be able to try what he'd brought either they had to come to a deal or she would need a willing donor. She would prefer a deal with him but she would not push it on him. Walking back to the couch she sat down and smiled again trying not make him run from her. "Food is on its way. But I have to ask. Do you truly not understand the way a vampire eats and is able to taste food?"

Stealing a small sip he met the tip of her nose as he avoided her eyes directly. No sense in taking a chance he thought to himself.
“Well now,” He began. “that’s a fine thing to do.” He slightly slurred catching himself so as to not make a complete fool of himself. “ I’ve come with drink and a, a, a chance at lovely evening and you go and ask how dumb do I think you think I might or might not be. Hmmph.”
He said his face sliding into a bit of a frown. Leaning into her conspiratorially he said. “Lissen its really simple I’ve seen the Master of the city and I know you all can eat food as it were; maybe not all of you, maybe not some of you, but others of you can eat and from the looks of things enjoy food. I wasn’t close enough to be sure but I think, maybe I think I think not sure of that one but I will let you know that drinking is a finer thing to do than eat. After all you can eat without drinking but its so much better if you do. Yet you can drink without eating and its just great all the same.”
Standing he moved to the desk and sat the bottle down. Eyeing it to make sure it didn’t roll move or get up and run away. “I don’t care how gorgeous you are I know your little secret and well...” Taking up the bottle he took a bit of a longer sip.
“I’m not leaving here until you have a taste a drink and tell me how great thish is.” Sitting the bottle down he crossed his arms over his chest as if that were all to be said about the matter. Leaning forward he focused on the tip of her nose as if it were eyes and said, “ Of course if you don’t like it you can still tell me how great it is.”

Raven did a long slow blink when Jack reacted defensively. She hadn't meant that he was stupid by any means, she knew there were weres that didn't know much of anything about vampires. She had just assumed he was one of those, her bad. His logic was a bit hard to follow even if she understood the gist of his clearly drunken speech. The bear needed food to soak up some of the alcohol before this went any further.
As if on cue there was a knock at the door. The food had arrived. She went and opened the way leaving Jack standing at the desk with his drink. She shooed the girl out as quickly as she could before taking his plate to him and setting it on the desk in front of him. "I was not calling you dumb, I assumed you simply did not truly understand how we consume our food. Just because some vampires can eat or drink the way you do, it does not mean we can taste it. Your kind of food and drink does not fill our bellies the way it does for you. Blood on the other hand does." She eyed him very intently before backing off.
She kept the surprise off of her face at his remark but she frowned a bit over him knowing her secret. What secret could he possibly of been talking about? She wasn't sure if asking him what he was talking about would get her a straight answer or not so she didn't.
"I can of course drink some but I can't promise anything Jack but maybe we should start with food first?" She smiled hoping to get him to look her rather then her nose.

As she brought his plate over he had to wonder how it was so delicious smelling in this place of places. He supposed he was in fact right about his bluff that they could eat other food besides blood. He’d bluffed because he really didn’t like the idea of giving his blood. He would but it was hard to connect the idea of him being a meal for anyone at least until he was dead. She however wouldn’t let him slide.
As he dug in she spoke and proved that she was taking baby steps with him. Sighing he took a seat again bringing the bottle and his plate. He sat continuing to dig in. It was only once he sat did he realize there was silverware. As it stood his hands were already used so he kept right on with a shrug. Licking his fingers until they were clean he smiled nervously
Waving his hands in defeat of a sort he said "Alright alright fine one maybe two drinks from the vein if its fun for us both."

He was so strange, she thought as she watched him dig into the plate that had been brought for him. It wasn't that he eating with his hands but that he had seemingly given in so easily. She had fully expected the bear to put up a protest or hell even a fight, something. Instead he practically said yes so long as they both had fun. That was something she could do regardless of which line she was from.
She almost jumped up to leap across the space but managed to restrain the action just barely. He was going to have to trust her for this, well not really but it would work out better in the end if he did. "I can do that but you will have to trust that I won't completely roll you. I am not from Belles line as you should know by now. I was created from fear so I don't have certain powers but I can make this pleasurable for us both regardless. But I would like for you to trust me enough to do this." After her speech she got up and almost glided to other side to resettle on the couch he was occupying. She was close enough to feel the heat radiating from his body not so close as to accidentally touch him while he decided.

He’d only just put it together really as he stood at the desk and knew the only way out of this mess was to give in. The Ursa hoped he would be her meal. The drink was to be tested yes but if he became her favorite or one of her favorite donors the Sleuth would have an in with the kiss much like the lions had a protected status of sorts. He had not thought of it as politics was not a thing he played at but he had to admit it was a valid way of thinking provided one was not the meal in question. As they had welcomed him with open arms even with his lack of baking experience, combat skills, money, power, and status truth be told he felt he owe dthem a debt. So this would be how they repaid themselves for their hospitality. It was why he agreed so quickly if he was honest he really agreed so he could see her eyes just once. Ever since their meeting in the cemetery he was curious. She was a beauty in ever way he could see her eyes alluded him though the image of her stayed with him.
Setting his plate aside on the table near at hand he focused on her a beautiful woman resting so close, caught near enough to touch but that precious few inches acting as a perpetual barrier. He knew he would have to make the first move as proof he was all in. That he agreed to be her meal. "Trust well no that’s not a thing. I trust very few I’m not even on that list though I give myself a chance every now and again. Pleasure now that’s the ticket after all what’s life without pleasure… Oh that’s right life all the same I suppose."
Daring himself he leaped closing his eyes as he cursed himself he leaned in with far more agility than most would assume a bear to have and kissed her forehead inhaling her scent. Yes, there was the scent of death about her. A predatory essence that hung close on most members of the preternatural community. It was more present around vampires but it was there all the same a scent that triggered the flight or fight.
Inhaling deeply, he decided to not flight though he couldn’t ever truly know as he didn’t have wings and couldn’t put it to a test. Pulling back, he dared to meet her eyes. He was pleasantly surprised. He had no words to describe the color though his mind constantly tried. It was a green cast silver that was surprisingly cold to look on. It was as if her soul was something carved of ice and metal yet they were not alien-like or off-putting they were eyes that one could look into and forget all semblance of time.
“Uhhh, what was I saying?” He asked as he forced himself to be cognizant of the moment when he sould his soul for god-knew what.

The problem with near immortality is after awhile you had been there done that a few times with everything. For chidera that had few exceptions. Love was more recent of those to finally be experienced and it had ended near disastrously.
Even her job as lead domme at the chapel and raising the kisses coalition had become ho hum somewhat so when unexpected things happened she was curious. News of the swaggering probably inebriated bear floating whispered in the halls made her near itch to see him for her self.
The vampire for all her years hadn't met many bears as they wernt her flavor but she was open to new things. She glided through halls barefoot and bright in her gauzy butter yellow sundress. Braids tiny and neat moving loose and hanging to mid waist in back.
Hearing him clearly through the door from feet away his cadence of speaking making her smirk. She knocked politely as it would be rude to just enter.

Raven sat quietly a bit of a smirk on her face if anything at the bears reaction to finally looking her full in the face. His eyes meeting hers for the first time was memorable for her to say the least. It was certainly comical the way he reacted and she hadn't even done anything yet. "Then I suppose pleasure will have to do for now."
She'd scooted over those last inches until their upper legs were flush from hip to knee, her hand had reached out to touch his face when a knock sounded at the door. Her fingertips were hovering an inch or two from his face while her eyes slid to the door her aura reaching out to find Chidera at her door. That was a bit surprising but she wouldn't turn her away at any rate. Maybe the three of them could have a time of it if she was up for it.
"Come in Chidera" she waited until the door shut behind the other female before she added "come to see what the fuss is about?" She knew the whispers would fly and they had from the moment Jack walked through the front door to the two of them going into her office and probably after that as well.

Fuss he thought of all things that registered first the next was that maybe Raven was on punishment and couldn’t have guests. No that couldn’t be it but just as his mind began to race down that maze of possible meanings he felt the other vampire. Or more specifically the other vampire’s aura had an effect on him. It was subtle but as a lover of things not a fighter he felt it more distinctly. She was the source the flame yet he while no small thing felt himself to be the moth. As such he held very still if he’d had any thought of reneging on being the sacrificial lamb his chances of getting out of it just dropped to less than zero. "Uh, hello. I’m Jack perhaps you’ve heard of me…" he continued speaking his voice lowering as he did so. “Of course maybe you haven’t but then again whose to say perhaps you have then well nevermind carry-on…”
He was rambling yes he was rambling it was what he did as he was nervous but he wasn’t really nervous. Some part of him was angry and he knew it shouldn’t be. He was all the same and yet he was as scared as the first time he sang in front of anyone. It was all quite confusing really once Raven touched him he thought that maybe she’d keep her word and pleasure was to be had but he was no fool. At least not purposefully so. He was more bear and any one woman could handle that was for sure, yet two was perhaps too much for him.
"Uh where were we Fuss yes fuss…None here see we’re all fuss free." Shrugging he picked up the ambrosial nectar and took a sip. When in doubt drink he always said and when somewhere else drink as well.

She smirked taking in the rougish bear then felt it the simmering. That nade her smile" oh yes you know how gossip flows here like wine"
Her voice almost purred, she sauntered further in watching his reaction then the stammering. Oh he was adorable and curious. A definite diversion." No darling I have not heard your name but your personality is well known to me..you are spoken of"
So pleasure hmm? It seems that he came seeking" may I taste what your drinking?"
Now she was close enough to touch him but hadnt done anything besides be there to frighten or anger him. He smelled delicous, she looked to Raven" where did you find such a cute morsel?"
