Nando wasn’t sure when the hug between D and Astin became a threesome but as it did and D ran off at the mouth as if she was having verbal diarrhea he took what information he could use and tried squaring the rest away to view later. It was a lot far too much actually no one should have to go through what she did. No one should have to feel that alone or that out of sorts. Especially no one he knew and counted as family. It made him angry at the way things turned out. It made him want to find her no good daddy and have him beat every day twice on Sunday for the rest of his life. He knew vengeance and he knew it well he knew he would probably do worse and hadn’t only as even as monstrous as the old man was he was at the time the only bit of her really left around. Now? With this reacquaintance he would put a hurt and a heal and a hurt on the man that would make him pray for a sainting that would not come for years. It also made up his mind about visiting the coast. Yeah he was going out to Cali to raise so much hell Ole Scratch his self wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between there and his home. It was so on he felt almost bad. He knew without looking to Astin that he felt the same even bound by the law he would make trouble every way he could for everyone that had hurt or stood by and allow D to be hurt. As she drained her self of her burdens He looked to Astin finally letting go as she all but drifted to sleep standing. Nodding he stepped back as he slipped her in his arms as if she were a little babe and carried her to the bedroom. He made them a drink and began to really look at his toys as he booked a flight out seven days later.

She regretted nothing and remembered little sleep sucked her under hard. She saw them in her dreams Louis who broke her heart snake who drew her out then left her spinning. Ghost who still held part of her and maybe could be her happiness. The captain and his straight shooting he'd promised her nothing but a good time.
She'd realized having come home every bad choice in love she'd made went back to child hood del and nando had tried to become good men but they never had a chance nor had beau or ren non of them really. No good father figures to mimic.
She was a biker for life you couldn't leave but she didn't want to but maybe she could pull back some that wild in her. Make some better choices she found out today she wasn't invincible.

Del listened his mind reeling at what she had danced through coming out the other side more or less who she was but tested and tried. He would have commended her but she didn’t need such things. She needed rest and time to absorb what had come before. What weighed on her mind and heart without her even knowing what load she was carrying. He did not envy her such realizations. He was angry and wanted to hurt those who had been lessons in her life and those who sought to make her a lesson to others. It was the only reason to spend money and send a snatch team. She was to be some bloody example and that made angrier. So much so that by the time he’d lain her in bed and gathered his laptop it was almost painful to keep from going off half-cocked that instant.
Even with the few extras in his life he would never be able to pull anything off except maybe a lot of death. That wouldn’t serve him none too well. He was a cop. He was also a registered infectee. It would be a death warrant for him the moment anyone caught wind. Him turning furry or not. It was also why even with his special dispensation here that he travelled as little as he did. Most of the bordering states had varmint laws that superseded police powers. It was why any infection false positive or not always began with the officers family receiving death benefits. It was akin to being killed in the line of duty while still alive. Shaking his head as he made the count to a hundred three or four times over he made it back downstairs to see Nando had made him a drink and a home in his armory.
“Well she out good and gon. Whatcu make a all dat?” Sitting his laptop on the counter he opened it and logged on to the local database checking the scene they’d just left. He doubted anything would be on the wire just yet but it was better than doing absolutely nothing. As his fingers flew over the keyboard he paused looking at Nando. He’d smelled it in the car but thought it was perhaps some trace or leftover from himself. But no Nando smelled like discharge and gun oil. Damn.

While she slept pepe dirk and his crew roared into Nola. They went to the hotel first found the spare room key she hid and popped the lock guns drawn in case.
In deed it had been tossed her stuff was every where. They were careful bout touching stuff but in short order and with minimal panty flinging and childish Ness had her stuff picked up. Laptop was destroyed and some other small things missing but they cleaned up and rolled out to get the bike.
Unbeknownst to them somewhere in another room they had been watched and the unhurt angry remnants of the snatched team were fuming. The broad had called biker back up.
They didn't want this fight but failing was not an option and with ramirez dropped they heard on the radio she'd been taken out permanently. They were a bit lost this was supposed to have been simple.

Nando didn’t see how Astin knew something he would rather not but his stomach began to growl something awful. He knew it wasn’t hunger but it felt the same. So he did what he always did when the jig was up but there was no proof of anything and no questions being asked. He smiled took a sip of his drink and waited. Or at least he would have until news of the dead girl came across Astin’s laptop. Even then it would have been business as usual yet the news of the timing and the wrong headed impression that Dania Ramirez was a tourist recently from Los Angeles. Made it harder to keep a straight face. While she was not the only person’s death to be the start of an investigation, she was the only one shot in a public place with no witnesses or leads. He should have been in the clear and as far as other cops he was. But Astin was always smarter than he let on. He was also for all of the less than legal things they’d done and to an extent Nando still did was a straight shooter. He wasn’t by the regular old cop book but he was by his own book to the letter and comma. So he changed subject. “You know I already made plans to go see her out dere yeah? I know you already figurin out how to do de same we might as well cancel my tickets and try ta find a group rate on something…”

Del raised his brow asking without words why? But unable to really get the anger up necessary to pursue that line of thought it happened there were no witnesses and no real clues to go on. So it might as well not have happened. Aside from the fact that he knew. He sighed taking a sip as D’s phone vibrated itself across the counter. He waited and snatched it just as the corner touched Nando. Yes he was showing off but it was a warning as well. ‘Stop pulling shit boy I can still kick your ass if I have to.’ Of course aside from monstrousness directed at an innocent or a friend he would never really go against Nando he was Krewe and all but family.
He didn’t mean to well he didn’t try and didn’t not try to read her screen. As usual she had one set up to flash the message across the screen even in locked position. It was good for info at a glance and deciding on whether to open messaging and reply.
He looked form the message to the laptop screen noting where the calls of shots fired came in at. There were two but he doubted the ones from the CBD would be a biker gang having a shoot out with a kidnap squad. So he focused in on the reports form the Iberville area. It was interesting that someone called in shots fired from there to begin with normally that area was a hear nothing see nothing zone.
Remembering D’s tats and what she’d admitted to he cross referenced the Sons, Soldiers, Sisters, Angels and Dogs of Anarchy. It turned out there was a loose chapter of Dogs led by a Jose “Pepe Dirk” Sancuchillo out of Shreveport. But the interesting thing Jose had a brother who ran an mechanic shop right here in Nola. His known associates brought up a list of whose who of scum bags including an acquaintance of Nandos, Joeseph Esquivel of Metairie.

Cops weren't fittna catch them they were long gone by the time the first unit ever got close. Pepe couldn't belive these marks trying for one of his family. It was easy enough to trace back to who put it out and the cash they were putting up wasn't nothing to sneeze at. Damn d musta done something serious or stole something they needed to get her to tell what and where because he needed to get more out of this if that's what they were up against.

He was torn in an even more ethical dilemma. He knew his friend had permanently put an end to one of the leaders of the snatch team. He had done so in a way that without definitive proof of which he was sure there would be none would give the city another black eye. An unsolved tourist’s death. It would be a hard push from the Brass to close the case which meant that very likely some other criminal would be the scapegoat just to close the matter. " Oh goddamn it all Nando…" Del began. He cut himself off as his phone rang. “We gotsta talk…” He said as he answered his phone.
“This is Detective Vincent,” He replied not recognizing the number. It wasn’t rare that he got strange calls he made it a habit of insuring every member of the Preternatural community had his number he never knew when or where he could get some information that was useful. Sadly, most didn’t use it as much as he would have liked.
